Dominican Republic received this Saturday in New York City, two awards for the Dominican Republic, where the country was recognized as the best destination in the Caribbean and the most familiar.

These distinctions were part of the celebration of the "Leisure Travel Award" and "Wherever Awards" given by the specialized magazine Global Traveler.

The first of the awards was the "Best Caribbean Island", which the Dominican Republic won for the second consecutive year. And the other recognition was that of “Best Caribbean island for families and friends”.
